Build workflows in a visual editor.
Connect steps, branches and integrations in the workflow editor. Execution history shows results and errors. Store and process data in n8n Data Tables or external databases.
Taibles vs. n8n
Taibles and n8n automate processes and connect your business systems. In Taibles, you manage processing in a table: your team sees inputs, results and the status of each step, fills in missing information and reruns individual steps.
Use the AI assistant to analyze the collected results and turn them into reports and dashboards.

Both products offer automation, integrations, AI and stored data. They differ in how your team sets up processes, reviews results and handles errors.

Each row holds a case and each column a processing step. Your team sees inputs, results and errors directly in the table, corrects entries and reruns individual steps. The assistant can analyze the collected results.
| Feature or requirement | n8n | Taibles |
|---|---|---|
| Keep results available | Yes. n8n Data Tables retain data after a workflow execution. Edit it in the interface, in workflows or through the API. [1] | Yes. Results remain in tables where your team can edit them and use them in further automations, AI questions and analyses. |
| Review errors and resume processing | Execution history with status filters and retries for failed workflows. Records can also be edited in Data Tables. [1][2] | Your team reviews the error in the affected row, corrects the data and reruns the necessary steps. |
| Ask AI about results | Yes. Chat Hub provides models and workflow agents. Configure data access through connected tools. [3] | Yes. The assistant accesses saved results and shared metric definitions. Ask questions about the data and create reports. |
| Store data and use external databases | Data Tables target light to moderate storage: 200 MiB per instance by default, configurable when self-hosted. External databases are another option. [1] | Results can be stored in Taibles tables. The assistant can also query connected databases, so you do not need to copy all the data. |
| Feature or requirement | n8n | Taibles |
|---|---|---|
| Build automations | Visual workflows with triggers, branches, integrations and AI steps. [4] | Configure processing steps in tables, with results, approvals and retries accessible there. Tasks performed by an assistant can also be set up as recurring processes. |
| Use OpenAI and other models | Yes. Connect models in AI workflows and Chat Hub. [3] | Yes. External providers and suitable local models are supported. The assistant uses models provided by Uniki by default. |
| Connect systems through APIs and custom tools | Integrations and HTTP access, with custom logic through the Code node. [5] | Integrations and custom tools connect business systems to assistants and automations. Custom connections add data access and actions. |
| Add approvals and human review | Workflows can wait for human input and then resume. [6] | Choose which steps need review or approval. Colleagues review the data and approve the step directly in the table. |
| Feature or requirement | n8n | Taibles |
|---|---|---|
| Run on your own servers | Yes. Self-hosting is available. The AI Starter Kit provides a starting point with local AI components. [7] | Yes, with no minimum seat count. Use existing infrastructure or an ELLY AI server from Uniki, which can also run models locally. |
| License and additional costs | Paid plans charge by workflow executions. Model providers, additional services and self-managed operation can add costs. [8] | A Taibles license; local deployment may require additional infrastructure. ELLY AI hardware is priced separately from the license. |
| Sign-in and access permissions | Roles, projects and single sign-on (SSO) are available depending on the plan. [9] | Single sign-on (SSO), automatic user provisioning (SCIM) and permissions for data sources and tables. |
Yes. n8n Data Tables provide persistent storage, and Chat Hub gives access to models and agents. In Taibles, tables also serve as the interface for automated processing: see steps, edit inputs and rerun steps. The assistant uses saved results to answer your questions.
Yes. n8n offers error handling, execution history and retries. In Taibles, your team handles errors directly on the record: it sees the failed step, corrects the data and reruns it.
Yes. Taibles supports importing n8n workflows. Connections, credentials and process logic are checked during import. You can also keep workflows running in n8n and pass their results to Taibles.
Custom integrations, access permissions and complex process logic may require technical setup. Your team can review results, fill in missing information and rerun steps in the configured tables.
Yes. Taibles and suitable models can run on your infrastructure or an ELLY AI server. n8n also supports self-hosting and local AI components. If you choose an external model provider, it processes the request.
Yes. In Taibles, you can rerun individual steps for a record and restore an earlier workflow version. This does not undo actions already completed in other systems.
